The Mt. Baker “road gap” is a must hit for many pro skiers and boarders visiting Mt. Baker. It was no different for KC Deane and Carston Oliver when they visited the ski area. Over the years I have shot it more times then I can count, but I always try to shoot it differently. I have photographer skiers jumping over school buses, duck taped a camera to a skiers hand and sent them over it … but this image is one of my all time favourites, as it shows the scale of how large the gap actually is. Carston had just hit the jump and was walking back to do it again when KC decided to float a large backflip over it.
